Cattlemen's
Champion's Choice

OUR HERITAGE

With over 30 years of expertise, CATTLEMEN'S® is the #1 BBQ sauce used by restaurants. In addition, CATTLEMEN'S® has been the secret ingredient in the winning recipes of every Grand Champion at the World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest at Memphis in May* for the past 14 years. Great Ingredients = Great Taste.

CATTLEMEN'S® offers four distinct flavors:

Made with the finest ingredients:

Tomato Paste — CATTLEMEN'S® Barbecue Sauces use only rich, dense tomato paste with 26% tomato solids, unlike other brands that are made with tomato puree, which is watered down and contains as little as 8% tomato solids.

Quality Ingredients — Unlike most other brands, CATTLEMEN'S® contains no starches or fillers for naturally thick barbecue sauce that seals in the flavor and resists skinning over.

Team Bio

The Lost Nation Smoke Company was born into the mind of Rich Decker in 2001. While watching a food network television program about barbecue Rich wondered how his would measure up against some of the competition cook's in New England. In 2002 Rich attended the New England Barbecue Championship™ at the Harpoon Brewery and decided he would like to compete.

He spent the next year getting ready. In that year he became a certified judge, attended two BBQ cooking schools and bought and modified a Lang 84 cooker.

In 2003 Rich judged or cooked every weekend leading up to Harpoon. Harpoon was held on the 2nd anniversary of Rich's father's death and it seemed like his dad was looking after him. The cook went well and Rich was hoping to hear his name called one time over the weekend. Well after 2 day's of cooking (there was a grilling contest on Sunday) Lost Nation heard their name called 8 times and were named Grand Champions of both contests. I think Lost Nation was the first team to ever win a qualifying contest their first time out.

Since the beginning Lost Nation has won a total of three Grand Championships and five Reserve Grand Championships along with 70 stage calls.
